The seats that are marked red mean that they are emergency exit places. These seats have much more legroom than other seats on board. As they are emergency exits, there are certain restrictions as to who can reserve these seats. The following passengers may not reserve emergency exit seats:
- Persons of reduced mobility/movement impaired passengers.
- Children under the age of 12-years-old.
- Families travelling with infants under the age of 2-years-old.
- Women who are in the 18th, or more, weeks of pregnancy are not allowed to be seated in these places.
If you have reserved these seats, but do not meet the requirements stipulated above, then our cabin crew will reseat you on board for safety reasons. Note that the arms of the seats are stationary and that extended seatbelts cannot be used in these seats.
