As an airline company we affect the environment, but Novair also wants to work for the environment.
Nova Airlines AB is part of the group Kuoni Scandinavia, as is the tour operator Apollo. All actors in the Kuoni group have striven to find ways to allow our operations to have a less negative environmental impact. Our environmental intentions are evident in all of our important decisions. Out of several comparably equal solutions, or alternatives, the most environmentally viable alternative is always to be chosen. This has entailed, among other things, that we have chosen to buy aircraft that have good fuel economy and therefore mean less undesired environmental emissions.
All Novair flights fulfil all national and international limits for noise and emissions (carbon-oxide, nitric-oxide, hydro-carbons and soot particles) by a good margin. Read more about our planes’ fuel consumption under Our Fleet.
Novair, together with the tour operator, Apollo, can as the first Swedish charter company offer the option of a ”Green Seat”. This is a simple way for you to compensate for the environmental burden that the flight trip causes, through investing in environmental projects.
