Medicinal oxygen is available on board for cases of acute illness.
If you need oxygen during the flight, you have to take your own supply of oxygen with you.
There are certain restrictions pertaining to the number of oxygen flasks that can be taken on board as well as to how they should be stored/packed.
We accept the following oxygen cylinders:
- AGA OTM-1
- NEDRON VAGABOND
- AIOLOS SOLISTA
- IMPULSE
- Freestyle portable oxygen concentrator
The number of oxygen flasks is limited to 4 per person. Notification of the taking on board of oxygen flasks has to be done at least 7 days prior to departure as there is a limit to how many flasks in total are allowed on board at one time.
You also need a medical certificate which verifies that you are in a fit state to travel and that the oxygen that you are bringing is sufficient. The certificate has to be brought with you and a copy has to be sent to Novair Customer Service. Novair will send you an acceptance form which has to be shown when checking in and also shown to the cabin crew.
